(07.01.01) Finally, finally we found time to clean up here. Faithful readers will notice the many little differences on the pages. Others will (hopefully) be happy to notice that now our letters can be read online, too.

(27.01.2001) After 3 (three!) months our moving boxes finally arrived in Jaén! In the end we had sent it via TNT to Madrid, Spain (DM 870,- !!!) from where the jesuits had sent it for free to Lima, via ship. The last 1000km from there to Jaén it was sent in three days via courier for only 40 Soles = DM 27 = US$ 12! At least nothing was broken.

(14.04.2001) We finally uploaded the fotos we had been promising for ages.
(28.04.2001) We are actually flying home to Munich, because Heidi really seems to have MS. :-(
(29.05.2001) We are back! It turned out that Heidi pretty sure has MS, but (so far) a very light form. The doctors told us that we can return to Jaén without being afraid that it will worsen here. On the contrary, our daily life in the Radio that we are longing for could actually help her to feel better.
(09.06.2001) We spent the weekend out in the fields: in La Lima de La Coipa. Here you can see fotos from this little excursion with Roxana and Dr. Fuentes. Also read our 5th letter.

(19.06.2001) We spent a few days in the rainforest, with Sabine from the i n e s-office in Munich. Here you can see some fotos.
(29.06.2001) Sabine organized some days of reflection with us and the Eckers - a couple who are supporting the project "Manitos Creciendo" in Piura. We stayed in the fisher village Yacila (near Piura). We happened to be there for the big festival of Saint Peter and Paul - the most important day of fishermen throughout the whole world. You can see some fotos about the sea procession.

Cookie Baking Report for our anniversary in Jaén, Promoción "Roxana Robles Ramos" out on the country with the farmers, inauguration of a new school and christmas presents in Radio Marañón.

Christmas and New Years Eve totally different, 7 bishops in Jaén at the same time, Andy's new trainee, Heidi's new vice, a trip to the beach in Piura, the variety of peruvian food and building another bathroom.
Our 13th letter from 2002-05-15
Easter in Ayacucho, climbing to 4800m in the Andes, 60 spanish job applications, Cachimbo - Andy cuts the hair of innocent girls, a march with lanterns, Mothersday with food baskets for the poorest families, the end of our stay in the Radio and our plans for the future.
(29.06.2002) Official end of our job in Radio Marañón. Goodbye-Party in the Restaurant "Las Esteras". Of course, we've got pictures and Paco's speech (Spanish and German) which summarizes our ideas and experiences very well.
Our 14th letter from 2002-07-25
Our (in)official final report with a cordial invitation to an afternoon with stories, fotos, coffee, cake and more (24th of august at 3pm in the parish of St.Ignatius), a short trip to Bagua Chica, our farewell-party from the Radio, the Soccer-Worldchampionship Final (Germany-Brasil) the peruvian way, Marcos graduation party in Piura and finally sad experiences with the peruvian health care system.
(12.08.-23.09.2002) Vacations in Munich. This is also the official end of our i n e s-time. But whoever decides to keep donating money to "our" bank account is very welcome to do that. From now on we won't use the money for our living costs here, but will use it instead for other small and trustworthy projects of our choice in Jaén and surroundings.

Spiritual exercises, again with Peter Hansen SJ, this time in Andahuaylillas, Guided tour through Manú-Nationalpark, visiting Peter Hansen SJ in the remote, but beautiful Marcapata and the place where our child will live.
(16.02.2003) Together with millions all over the world people in Jaén showed their Support for Peace today on the main plaza of the city - organized by Radio Marañón. For the first time we offer you one of Andy's VIDEOs.
(11.03.2003) Finally we managed to sort out our pictures from our Weekend-trip to Chiclayo and Cajamarca from Octubre 2001 and put them for you on our web-site.
